San Luis Mexican - Shreveport

This was our first time to taste this restaurant. We had a little understanding when we first arrived. The restaurant is at the end of a small shopping center. We went in and saw no other customers, but the place was very clean and the staff was polite. We were served the freshest chips we had in a long time and the salsa was excellent. We ordered both enchaladas, cheese and my husband beef. They were extraordinary. Fresh and hot accompanied by spicy rice and we are seasoned beans. My husband said that was the best enchaladas he had in seven years. The costs for both of us were less than $20. We'll be back and forth.

It was really good for the first time. I was kind of worried when I came in and nobody was there, but the service was great and the food was delicious. The price is in place for most Tex Mex places. What surprised me most was how clean everything from the dining room to what I could see from the kitchen and the bathrooms. Overall, I would recommend this place for family and friends.

Can't really do a through review, I have only been once. The chicken enchiladas were very good, but could have used a little more seasoning on the chicken. Hence the 4 stars.

STAY AWAY!! Nothing special at all about the place. If you don't order food but the rest of your party does, you're not allowed to touch a chip without them charging you for it. I'm surprised they didn't charge for the water. Don't expect to cool off from the hot sun either, it was so hot inside that I started to sweat. There's plenty of QUALITY Mexican restaurants in this area to choose from

I wanted to try a new restaurant in Shreveport. The food was delicious. I'm back. Lunch specialties are also offered.
