Sonic Drive-in - Shreveport

For the 4th time I failed to receive my $4.00 Rt 44 drink. Its quite possibly the largest fountain drink in the fast food industry. But they failed to include it again. So Im enjoying my Sonic dinner without a drink. Again.

I found the food to be hot and enjoyable overall. However, I ordered the medium Chili Cheese Tots and was disappointed to receive just six of them, with hardly any cheese, and the chili was unappetizingly black and lumpy. It didn't look good and sadly, it didn't taste good either! I had been craving chili cheese fries for a long time, and I really should have contacted DoorDash about my order. Next time, I definitely will! Additionally, they didn't have any sweet tea, which I was craving as well. On a positive note, I did get several cups of Sonic ice. I really wish they would consider adding bags of Sonic ice to their DoorDash menu—I bet they would sell quite a bit!

I absolutely love the Ultimate Meat Cheese Breakfast Burrito and the Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger, along with large Tots, large Fries, and a large Dr Pepper with no ice. The food was still hot and delicious! I really can't stand cold fries, so whether it's drive-thru or delivery, I always make sure to ask for hot fries or Tater Tots. I even check them right away, and if they’re not hot, I send them back. It’s just one of my pet peeves. Thankfully, whenever my grandson and I go to Sonic, our food is always good and piping hot! We start eating the fries or Tots as soon as we confirm they're hot. We order large fries or Tots so we can have some left for when we get home. I’m lucky since Sonic is right down the street from me, and it's my favorite location—believe me, I've tried many! Sometimes we even stop by for fries or Tots while we're running errands or visiting friends. Sonic is my grandson’s favorite place, apart from Johnny's Pizza. Plus, the employees there are really nice. It gets quite busy because it’s on E Kings Hwy near Youree Drive, and the drive-thru line can back up, making you stop before getting into the driveway, but the wait isn’t too bad. Some people prefer to go through the drive-thru instead of parking. Personally, I’d rather call in my order and park, so they can bring it right out rather than wait longer. If you enjoy Sonic, definitely stop by the one on E Kings Hwy and Youree Drive for great, friendly service and hot food!

Absolutely delicious! I had the Chilli Cheese Footlong Quarter Pound Coney with chili and onions on my Tots, and it was fantastic!
