Royalist - Shropshire

We had a fantastic holiday lunch at this restaurant. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, hot, and delicious. Our waitress and all the staff were very friendly and attentive, making our social occasion very memorable. We had a lovely time with excellent food. Highly recommend. Thank you.

I only visited this restaurant for breakfast, which was satisfying. The room was lovely and well organized. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We went with a group of four to celebrate my birthday. The decor of the restaurant seemed outdated and part of it was still set up for breakfast. Most tables had tablecloths, but ours did not, which made it feel incomplete to us. There were no local patrons, only guests. The food was decent but not outstanding, and there was only one menu available, not the one that was advertised on the website. When I asked to have my leftover steak wrapped up, I was told it went against the food code regulations. When I followed up on this with Food Standards on Monday, they were unaware of any such rule. This experience makes me unlikely to return to this restaurant.

Interesting there were 2 menus, one everyday menu appropriately priced and a.more fine diners. The chef apparently cooks everything fresh.we had welsh filet steak with my favourite pepper corn sauce, yummy. We had delicious desserts with h ice cream. excellent service who knew her stuff. good we wine,list. Suited us eating early that restaurant was fairlty quiet.
