I stumbled across Bolivar Lincoln by chance taking a different walking route; and I decided to visit after trying to avoid the christkindlmarket/holiday bar crowd in Wrigley. I’m pretty new to Venezuelan cuisine, and I can confidently say that I’m hooked! The service was 10/10 and super attentive and respectful. I had the pabellón criollo and the meat was so tender. Arepas were good, but for the price, you're better off just going to 11 Degrees North instead. Also, the tequeños are not freshly made — they're pre-packaged and then baked — the ones we had were a little cold in the center.
There was only one guy serving and taking orders and although he was very nice and polite. It took forever to get our orders. The food was amazing, but it was getting ahold of the waiter that became an issue. Maybe hire another waiter? Besides that, food was awesome, staff was friendly and it was clean.
Love the food here. We have ordered many times. Worth the wait!
