Warm and domestic feeling, loved the decor. Good service. Good value for money. Enjoy the artichoke salad and the duckbone jam that had beautiful cracky skin layer. Grilled snaps were also delicious.

For some cuisines, we have “go to” places, However, when it comes to French, there isn’t a single restaurant that I prefer, but rather a handful of places that I feel are authentic with great food and service, while each remains a bit different from the others. You choose where you want to go based how you feel or whether you’re in the mood for a particular dish. Bistro Du Vin has many of the French bistro staples plus many seasonal specials that vary week to week. Their steak frites is an easy choice and always tasty, but they have many other options, as well, and this is one restaurant where I definitely would encourage you to try the specials. I also really enjoy the atmosphere inside and find it a lot more pleasant than Les Amis a few doors down. If you haven’t been here, please do give it a try.

2nd visit. Came here for friend's bday celebration. Portion is good for sharing. The lamb shank, chicken so so so tender. Meat fall off it self. French onion soup is tangy and sweet. Also love their side mashed potatoes. Their owner is very friendly. Very satisfied experience. Merci beaucoup.

Hosted my friend's bday lunch at this French Bistro. Small little quaint french bistro that is filled with French design and ambience. We had their 3 meal course set lunch and it was simple and delicious. I had the seared tuna for starter and snapper for main. My friend had French onion soup and Duck Confit. For dessert I ordered the Cheese for the Day and my friend has the cherry chocolate tart. The cheese was okay but the chocolate cherry tart was excellent! Very attentive service staff. Restaurant was full despite the pandemic. That tells me people are willing to pay for good quality food and service even during difficult times. Overall a lovely and enjoyable lunch. We hope to return soon to try the other dishes.

Spectacular French food presented in a low key and low frills manner. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Specials are truly quite special and not just an afterthought.
