Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream - Skokie

I have multiple friends who are lactose intolerant, so they appreciate Zanzibar and other flavors with lower lactose levels in this decadent ice cream. Personally, I choose to dine here because I need to watch my carb intake. I steer clear of low-fat ice creams with added carbohydrates or sweeteners. I adore this establishment, especially since all the ice cream is certified kosher.

This is definitely my favorite ice cream shop in Skokie. It was my second time visiting and there were so many flavors to choose from. I appreciate that they offer non-dairy soy ice cream, Italian ice cream, sugar-free options, and sherbet. There is something for everyone to enjoy! I ordered the blueberry cheesecake with a white chocolate waffle cone, while my partner got the espresso oreo with a regular waffle cone.

The Mackinac Island Fudge is my favorite. I will gladly drive from Indiana anytime just to get some. (Thank you, Patsy)
