Westlake Chinese - Smithville

The food was absolutely awful, bland, dry and over cooked. I got the combination fried rice and my grandmother got vegetable lo mein. Honestly even the crab rangoons were really bad too. The only edible thing was the egg drop soup. As for the restaurant itself it was cleaned and well organized but the food is just not good. It is a small town so you cant expect much.

We really like their food. Always fresh, large servings, and the Crab Rangoon is excellent!

The food seemed to have been sitting for several hours. Wasn’t fresh at all. We got there at 12:30 The place is pretty dirty. The only thing semi good was the egg rolls and noodles. My daughter barely ate anything because it “wasn’t good”. Definitely not a place I’ll return to.

Great food and service, we usually do take out and food is always ready when scheduled. We are vegetarians and this is one of few places in Smithville we can go to for non-meat options. They don't skimp on portions either!

The place was dead as a doornail but the food was great. Recommend the Shanghai mein fan if you don't mind a little spice in your life. There are some negative reviews i noticed. Ignore them the food is great. No buffet after 3pm. Dine in and order from the menu or take out after 3pm until 9. I haven't had the buffet in years. If you get buffet the place isnt real busy with people dining in so i can't imagine the buffet is all that fresh.
