The Schnitzel Bomber - Soldotna

This restaurant offers the best food and service in the area. Both the traditional schnitzel and the chicken sandwich are exceptional. We ordered takeout for dinner, and the price per person was around $10–20. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5 out of 5.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place! The guy who took our order and served us at the window was fantastic. We’d been on the lookout for a delicious restaurant that won’t break the bank, and we both agree this is our new favorite spot. We tried the hot mess and the chicken schnitzel with all the toppings—and they did not disappoint! Honestly, I can’t find the right words to capture how great it was, so you’ll just have to experience it for yourself. You can really tell they put a lot of love into their food. I’m hoping they stay open through the winter; I know it can be tough, but I’ll definitely be coming back often if they do!

Wow! I got really hungry while driving from Anchorage to Homer and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We almost left because it was a drive-thru, but we decided to eat in the car instead. I'm so glad we chose to stay! This place is incredible. I ordered the chef schnitzel burger, and it might be the best thing I've ever tasted. My mom had the schnitzel fingers and absolutely loved them! It's definitely worth the detour if you're looking for amazing food in Kenai or Soldotna.

It's been a few years, the food and service today were once again STELLAR!!! Amazing food. We had chicken schnitzel, pork schnitzel with spatzle and The Hot Mess. My niece said The Hot Mess was the best meal the whole week in AK. Our schnitzel's were amazing. So delicious! We will probably visit again tomorrow. Don't let the shipping container outside be a concern, the food is phenomenal. Outdoor seating in back under the gazebo. Highly recommend.
