Avaliação da contribuiçãoHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! First of all I ordered two regular grilled cheese sandwiches a large season fry a large sweet tea and the smallest mixed ice cream cup they have. I got to the window the lady informed me that my meal was $16.42... I have never in my life paid 3.95 a piece for a grilled cheese. Two pieces of bread and a slice a cheese. Come to find out they didn't even cook my grilled cheese!!! And my large fry was SMALL!! Needless to say I won't return to Happy Days after years of living in this state and going to this establishment numerous of times. Sad to say I'm very disappointed how this businesses prices are too high and quantity too low.
HORRIBLE! I don 't know how they remain in business! The waitress/owner(? was on her cellphone the entire time and that 's not an exaggeration. She was on the phone as she sat us (whispering to us where the high chairs were, obviously she wouldn 't get one for us , she was in the middle of taking our order when her phone rang and she stopped to answer it (sounded like an employee on the other end ; we sat quietly while she completed her call AND she was on her phone while she was in the kitchen NUKING our food. Burger was cheap preformed patty and not even hot. Chips for nachos were stale and the nacho cheese had a ring around the bowl from the microwave, yet not hot. My son 's corn dog was over done on the outside and cold on the inside. M wife got breakfast...cold and tasteless. Bacon was hanging over edge of plate, broke off and fell into the floor. Chocolate malt was nasty! Had weird flavor, couldn 't taste malt and was more water than any other ingredient. And what 50 's diner doesn 't have a fountain? Coke was sold by the can, so when it 's gone, it 's gone...oh and at a 300% markup. Then, to top it off, right as we begin to eat our cold meal, two men begin to unload their car and bring in and set up band (musical gear. While doing so they prop the front door open which is MAYBE 10 ft from us AND it 's 54° outside and bordering a two lane, but highly traveled highway. Even after the men finished unloading, they left the door propped open as they set up the equipment. The last straw was when both men stepped ONE step across the threshold standing directly in front of the open door and LIT UP CIGARETTES! One man took his last drag, flicked his cigarette, stepped inside and blew out his smoke. Code violation anyone? The men were outside smoking again when we left with our two small children. We had to ask to be excused in order to exit the door then walk directly through their smoke. Once again, no exaggerations, worst restaurant experience EVER! Please do not waste your time or money even trying it! Oh, almost forgot! Thankfully after our food was out of the kitchen, an employee walked in and into the kitchen wearing a face mask and talking about how darn sick she is. Lastly, honestly this time, no atmosphere. No bright paint, no jukebox, no happy . If you like groceries falling out of the bottom of wet bags, morning traffic, spilling hot coffee in your lap or walking into glass partitions then this is the place for you! I downloaded Yelp for the first time just to review this restaurant. My honest, detailed account of my experience at Happy Days Diner was censored on Google Reviews for some unknown reason. Most likely falsely reported by owners.
The owner is so nice and the food was delicious. I will definitely be going back for some more family time and good eating
All day breakfast! Yummy food! Sweet ladies! My new favorite place to eat!
Very enjoyable food and service from the owners and staff. Very communicative, nice folks. We specially loved the downhome local-style, the Thursnite band, and the kind-welcoming of the regular local patrons.
