Rosebud American Kitchen - Somerville

The menu is eclectic, and in general quite tasty and from the usual. they love the stand and that they keep the historical diner intact and receive the ambiente in certain sections. the personal was always friendly and service was excellent as we had to make it fast to make a movie close by. often they bring from the city guests here for something else.

Staff that served us very robotic; impersonal. Wouldn't seat us because we were early. Sent us to the bar then never came to get us. Never felt welcomed or appreciated as a paying guest.

Had an excellent brunch while visiting our son in Somerville. Classic diner look on the outside but much larger when you walk inside. Service was great and French toast was delicious. Highly recommend trying the donuts.

We had a great time at Rosebud's. Made a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes within the scheduled time (a one hour wait for a table without a reservation). The food was awesome; chicken and waffles, mushroom and gruyere omelet, brisket benedict and the drinks truly notable. Four of us for Sunday brunch, great vibe, easy and relaxed.
