Avaliação da contribuiçãoAlthough it’s a Simple little place, Valerie is a wonder in the kitchen and whipped up two wonderful dinners for us. I highly recommend it!
We stopped by the Boathouse since we were staying right next door at Sirens Beach Motel for their Friday Fish dinner (reservations are recommended, as they get busy) and had the most amazing haddock and seafood chowder. The homemade blueberry pudding was heavenly. Everything super fresh and locally sourced. 10/10
We stopped here for lunch on a drive around the northeastern tip of PEI. What a hidden gem of a restaurant. We arrived at about 11:30 and were glad we go there early because within 30 minutes the place was packed and had about 15 additional people waiting for tables. We ordered lobster rolls. When they arrived they were chock-full of super-fresh lobster meat...about 3 claws per roll. The best lobster rolls we've ever had (we're from New England where lobster rolls are plentiful. Be aware that Google Maps directions to The Boathouse aren't the best. Google got us to the vicinity of the restaurant but we had to make a second pass to actually find the restaurant. My advice once you're in the area...follow the cars because they're probably headed for the Boathouse!
Not much on the drive from Greenwich NP to East Point, but we found this absolute gem for lunch. Wife had the Siren Seafood salad a great fresh seafood and fruit combo (see pic). Since they serve breakfast until 2 PM, I had the Lobster Benedict which was loaded with chunks of meat! The staff were so friendly and we loved this little hole in the wall!
While staying next door at Sirens Beach Motel, which has a breakfast deal with the Boathouse Restaurant, I ate breakfast there four mornings and dinner three times. Would definitely recommend! Tasty food everything I tried was great but I especially loved the fish tacos (dinner) and home fries (breakfast) and super friendly service, especially by Valarie (the owner) who I chatted with each morning.
