Pizzeria Sassano - South Glastonbury

This is a take-out review. All the food was enjoyed fresh in the car, and it was an incredible dining experience. I ordered meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were expertly prepared, moist, and flavorful. The pizza was fantastic, with a wonderfully crispy crust that had a nice chew to it. The sauce was superb, and the peppers added a great touch. I would rate the overall experience a 9.4 out of 10.

For Valentine's Day, we ordered heart-shaped pizzas and a salad, and they were absolutely delicious. The toppings were fantastic, and the crust was among the best we've ever had. The owner and the staff were incredibly friendly, and I truly appreciated that they made my gluten-free pizza in a heart shape just for me!

My family and I have been ordering from Pizzeria Sassano for almost six months, and they serve the best pizzas in the area. The pizzas are typically packed with generous toppings. There were maybe one or two occasions when the sauce was a bit scant, but those instances are far outweighed by the many times it has been just right. They also offer large salads and have a fantastic variety of weekly specials—my personal favorites are the stuffed mushrooms and short rib ravioli. The friendly staff adds to the experience, making this place a must-visit if you're in the neighborhood. Don’t miss out on this gem!

We were immediately greeted by fantastic staff and enjoyed great pizza - the meat lovers were delicious! We will return and recommend to others!
