The Lantern Inn - SOUTH KEMPSEY

We showed up here at a motel stay. The only complaint I have was that they could only deliver 6 oysters. They were so delicious that I could do more. Meals are not a little imagination, but the portions are very generous so... the price.

The service at this restaurant was exceptional, making you feel right at home with engaging conversations and a strong connection with the staff. The meals were delicious, and even the children left happy with their ice cream for dessert. I particularly enjoyed the chicken entree, recommended by the lovely Tracey, with the mushroom sauce that was absolutely divine. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, not dry at all.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. My wife ordered a dozen oysters, which were freshly sourced from Port Macquarie. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated, with dim lighting and a quiet ambiance despite multiple tables being occupied.

An all round great evening at the Lantern Inn. Service, ambients, meals and prices,all very good.Allthough we didn't have a booking, we were made welcome to have our meal.For next time we`ll make a booking..

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The meal was freshly prepared and served quickly. The price was good. I ordered the flathead fillets with chips and salad, and it was cooked perfectly. The salad was fresh as well. I highly recommend dining here.
