The Royal Oak - South Northamptonshire

First visit for 4 of us. welcome from the personal beautiful atmosphere. we had a really pleasant meal. two of us had the common starter that was really enjoyable. 1 had the olives and the other had the pate. we had the steak royal blue pier that was delicious that the baked was so delicious. one had the rib-eye steak and the other had caribically spiced hen with chorizo rice. (this needed some sauce with it) the chicken came on a spit on the rice served with a side salad. we were too full to taste desserts. the personal was brilliant to always check whether everything was in order was back in any case.

On Saturday, December 20th, we had a great meal. the pub and the dining room were immaculately clean, the staff engaged and our beautiful waitress was aware. never before in this pub and it meets our requirements perfectly. country pub offers a good atmosphere and great food. well made royal oak, I would recommend to everyone to pay them a visit, whether for a drink or a meal: happy christmas and I hope that their need will grow in 2015.

The food is to die, it is served very nicely the veg is cooked to perfection, my fav is her pancake absolutely delicious, I also had the scampi that is excellent, and also the fish, I could not fail. if they want something nice and special, then the royal oak is for them, then they just say, then diner tech sent ya, seroulsly folks that eat is about good, personal are nice and chatty real family run pub, if len was here it was a 10 of len

Went for a meal last night (31.5.18) with the family for my vater birthday and could not mistake it the food was excellent and well presented the staff was very polite, pleasant and helpful it was a wonderful meal all round thanks to them all in the royal oak!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic meal, and they even had Rock Rose gin.
