Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe bagels are fresh. A large majority of the bagels (Onion and Garlic Bagels are my favorite). The smell of bakery meets you from the outside. I didn't want to come by. I had a meeting down a few doors, but the bagels smell made my mouthwater that I had to go in. It was even better than eating my breakfast sandwich. I bought three more. It's a must if you're in South Orange.
The bagels at Bagels Aboard are large and delicious. It's one of my favorite places to eat. Not only do they offer fantastic bagels, but they also serve excellent salads, like chicken salad on rye and pumpernickel, which are truly amazing. They have more bagel flavors than I could ever try! While it can get crowded at times, the owners ensure that everyone is served promptly and with a smile. I've also noticed them leaving the counter to assist elderly customers and mothers with strollers, which really enhances the overall experience at Bagels Aboard.
Hot Bagels Abroad is conveniently situated less than half a block from the South Orange, NJ train station. They offer a full menu that caters to breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks. I personally love their breakfast options; I often get the egg and cheese with turkey on a toasted roll, and it's always delicious. While the morning line may appear long, don’t let that deter you. The service is consistently quick, even during peak hours.
Whenever I'm away from South Orange or New Jersey for a while, Hot Bagels is one of the first places I visit when I return. I might be a bit biased since I've been enjoying their bagels for 20 years, but they are truly among my favorites, no doubt about it. They have all the charm of a classic bagel shop, and their Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich is exceptional. The owner is fantastic as well. Just a heads up: it gets quite busy on weekends, so you may have to wait for your order. There are plenty of great bagel spots in the area, but be sure to put Hot Bagels on your list!
