Kohnami - South Padre Island

We visit this place in the rule when we visit the beach. but this time was terrible. our server was so lost. he appeared overwhelmed. he forgot our salads, did not ask who wanted whiter rice, put in the wrong foods and accused us falsely. the chef was great and could adapt. the chef brought too much garnel and not enough hugging because the server put it wrong. at the end of the meal I asked the server to correct our ticket and he was somehow annoyed with me and said I had talked to him about the corrections and not the cook. it was a mess. we just tried to get out and not be satisfied.

The worse I've ever tried. I had expected more and more garnel because the restaurant is located on the South Padre Island. Too bad about you, kohnami.

I like sushi, but my man didn't think we'd try this restaurant because the menu had a lot of Chinese dressed and sushi. we landed on the teller for two called treasure boat. Look at this picture. this court was the perfect ding for us and we loved it. the service was great, clean and beautifully furnished. when they are in south padre, they have to try.

I fought here for my wife's birthday. good food and good value. the lunch special Bento box with suppe, salat and two full size reels is worth the $16.00 dollar price. clean place and we had an attentive waitress. generous portions well executed.

For pretty much the only sushi place on the entire South Padre Island (and they also do hibachi) the sushi was really fresh and tasty and the chef was so AWESOME that when I asked for smaller pieces on my roll (sick of trying to eat hockey pucks lol) he rolled it super tight and got 10 whole pieces out of a single roll for me and they all stcuk together enough to eat with chopsticks. Amazing!Their mission soup is tasty. They don't seem to have any reasonably priced cold cloudy sake but whatever. Service was great. Clean and tasty.Go for their bomb lunch specials. They have bento boxes and stuff but you can get 2 full rolls with soup for $14 until 4pm and a ton of the rolls on the list are at least 13 or 14$ alone. Greta deal for late sleepers!
