Good food although quite unsanitary, me and my family saw a employee there stroking a dog near its mouth, didn’t clean or get a new pair of gloves and continued to hand out food with these gloves on. Me and my family found this unrealistic as people can have allergic reactions to dogs. Also cleaning dirty tables with gloves on and not changing and then handing out food. Although, staff were very considerate and helpful asking if we were done with our food and a cheery smile on their face. We probably would go back although this happened. Poor effort into hygiene.
Used to be very good value for money now not so. one of us had porridge this you could cut with a knife, the other had breakfast what a rip of. egg had some white that was runny fried bread really hard sausage looked cremated coffee undrinkable .was scowled at by waitress when asked to take my coffee away as i could not drink it. white hot chocolate on menu board but dont do anymore. told there would be a wait as the kitchen was busy starting to prepare lunch at 11 a.m. waitress clenaing tables with dirty cloth then going and putting it down on the conter by the hot food while she proceded to take food to tables. Staff all looked as if they wanted to be somewhere else. Will not be comming back
Lovely spot and plenty of space and staff. Tables a little grubby first thing and noticed they are not wiping between customers.
Came in a few months back with a friend and was very disappointed but decided to give it a second chance as friends recommended it had improved. We came in Friday and were greeted with a smile this time and happy staff. We ordered our food and were served promptly. We had a lovely time and I must add the cafe and garden centre looked lovely and Christmassy.
