The Marsden Inn - South Tyneside

The restaurant still has its old charm, with two main dining areas, a work space, and an upstairs bedroom. The amenities have been recently updated, with clean bathrooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The menu consists of pub grub, but the rump steaks are of great quality and worth the price. We ordered a rump steak and it was delicious. The thick-cut chips were also tasty. The portions are very generous. The beds are comfortable and the place is quiet, even when events are taking place. The breakfast menu is a bit limited, but still excellent. I highly recommend it.

We had nice Sunday lunch yesterday in a beautiful environment near marston bay, prices very reasonable and excellent polite service. highly recommended. excellent beer too. who could ask for more?

Came here on Christmas and possibly had the worst eating of my life. the half of the party was served RAW prunks and we did not even come to the main course. had several miserable excuses from the administration over why and became three different. the Gents-Toliets were dirty so I break thinking how the kitchens were. they should be clinically crazy to go here. avoid it like the plague. the personal is untrained and unconditional as you even pour a pint should be closed.

The breakfast was the traditional English breakfast. it was good and very cheap. service was also good. good part.

Stayed modern bathroom and everything spotless,check in quick and staff very friendly,enormous breakfast,we also ate here and meal was delicious and priced very reasonable.the whole place has a good atmosphere and very friendly staff.would recommend to all.close to coast and lots of sea front...amenities.i am sure we will return!
