Mesquite Chop House - Southaven

Went with a group from my office for dinner. There was supposed to be 3 waitresses considering we had a sizable party. Two bailed, but the one woman tended to easily 20 people. She was attentive and kind, our drinks were consistently refilled. I wish I had gotten her name, she was lovely! The food was wonderful, the chicken was juicy and the steak was perfectly cooked. The rolls were also to die for! Very pleasant outing, I would absolutely come back.

Best steak! Got a medium and it was perfect. The salad was great! The dessert i had was cheesecake. So they had 3 courses. Salad and bread, your entre and dessert. Plus wine and a bar with love music on the inside and outside. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!!! Best customer service I've had in Memphis for awhile. All I've got to say it 5 stars and wow!!!!!

Mesquite Chophouse ?Less for more.? Went as a group of 5 for a birthday. The appetizer bread was hard and difficult to cut. The NY strip myself and another guest had were more fat than edible meat, see below for a picture of the remaining fat. For the meat itself, it was cooked to the upper end of medium well when medium rare was requested and had very little flavor. I have never had this much fat or this far off of doneness in a strip before today. The onlyredeeming qualities were the other guests who had different cuts that were cooked appropriately with appropriate amounts of fat. When you can go to chili?s and get a better quality steak, you?re doing something wrong as a steakhouse. Willnot be returning, there are other steakhouses nearby for similar pricing that far exceed the quality you will receive here.

Hope this review helps the next party and save time. Visited this location for a second time because it wasn?t that OUTSTANDING the first time as people hyped it to be; giving it a second go ya know. We ordered steaks medium well and a couple sides. Drinks were great by the way!!!!! The food came out and when I say not hot at all, not hot. As if the food was sitting in a to go box on the kitchen counter. I told my waiter Great Waiter by the way) that we don?t want thefood because the temp and taste of the food. The manager came out and stated ?We haven?t one order returned tonight and I touched the food and the food was hot. What?s the problem?? I easily informed him that we don?t want the food becauseit?s not hot and the taste isn?t as expected. I told him it doesn?t compare to what we are use to which is Ruth Chris Steakhouse GOOD HOT FOOD). He made the statement that maybe we should just stick with Ruth Chris as if they shouldn?t becompared to Ruth Chris?s standards of food service which is GOOD HOT FOOD. And to the fellow readers, if you haven?t heard the waiter/waitress tell you to be careful because this plate is 500 degrees, you haven?t EXPERIENCED A GOODSTEAK!!!!!!! Take a look of the pictures. The bogo filets was happy. perfectly prepared! we shared an salat and it was divided on 2 teller for us a really nice note.
