Mesquite Chop House - Southaven

The bogo filets was happy. perfectly prepared! we shared an salat and it was divided on 2 teller for us a really nice note.

The place overall is a good spot to eat. I had brunch and food was old and they were out of a lot of menu items.

This place used to get 5 stars, but it’s not nearly as good as it uses to be. We go on our anniversary every year, and each year it’s a little worse. The food that we got was still good. We used to always get the creme brí»lée, but it was unavailable for two years. Then this year they tried to give us something they called crème brí»lée, but it clearly was not. It was a weird pudding in a coffee cup. We sent it back. Years ago your cup never was empty, you never longed for bread, and your table was never dirty. They also have a dress code, but don’t adhere to it. Our waitress was nice enough.

The filets are always good. Too bad you can only get the 6oz on BOGO Tuesdays.

It was very hot on the inside. Other than that the service was excellent
