Wild Orchid Thai Sushi - SOUTHINGTON

I am surprised that this restaurant has so many four/five star reviews. My husband and I were there and were the only ones, and our food took 30 minutes to get out. We saw some people coming to take orders that were told to wait. Food was good, moderate. Not much taste. My husband asked for Spicy and it wasn't sharp at all. I wouldn't come back.

Food was very good and our waitress was amazing! Very friendly. But I left this place two stars because the owner was terrible for their employees in front of customers who all feel uncomfortable and unpleasant to us. Our waitress did a great job and the owner came by and told her how she did everything wrong and made the order confusing when the owner actually made everything incredibly confusing for us and our waitress. The waitress didn't deserve to be treated like that. The owner shouldn't worry about customers that she has zero hospitality and I and my family will not return anytime soon because we don't want the chance to be waited by the owner again.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. 30 minutes to get drinks. Has been moved to order all you eat menu. We ordered a bit much and asked to take the rest home and was charged $20 as a to-go fee. If we didn't eat home, we would have charged $30. Nowhere is this mentioned on the menu. Since it's all you can eat, maybe start rolling out for a (as in demand) so you don't get into this situation. The meal came with dessert, we asked to share the slice of cake and got an answer "You will not be able to eat that if you too full. "I had to ask the dessert and then we were told if we didn't go to the end that we got another charge. We'll never be back. I'd rather recommend sweet mango. It's really a shame a family restaurant treats it's guests like this. When we emigrate, another guest mentioned that they would not be back, either for the bad service and the random fees that appear like $1 for aal sauce.

Two weeks ago our first time in the wild orchid was and it was a wonderful experience! We had everything you can eat Sushi Special, which is a good offer for sushi lovers to get when places like this offer it! The cook has done an excellent job to get all the different delicious sushi! You also have a good choice. For example, some of the sushi we had included the tuna avocado roll, rainbow roll, salmon lover roll, tuna lover roll, furious tuna roll etc. Specifically, the furious tuna role was one of the best to try! Overall we were very satisfied with our experience and we will come back soon! We highly recommend this place if you are a sushi lover!

This place was awesome! We went for the all you can eat sushi menu and there were so many great options. Everything was delicious. 100% will be back!
