Chinese Canteen - Southwark

My family and I were searching for a good Chinese restaurant and this place had a 4.5 rating, but we were not impressed. The noodles seemed burnt, likely due to the pans being burnt. The staff were friendly, but the food was not very good.

I recently tried this takeout restaurant, and I was very disappointed with the portion sizes of the curry sauces I ordered. One of them was a normal takeaway size, but the other two were much smaller. It ruined our meal as we had ordered other items from a different place to go with the curry sauce. I am a local and I will never be returning to this restaurant again.

The food is amazing with generous portions, and the prices are reasonable. It's a must-visit place, worth the drive since they don't offer delivery service yet.

I was visiting this part London and fancied a Chinese. The Singapore Fried Noodles was OK. It wasnt the best by any means. It was perfectly acceptable and worth the £5 but it didnt have a lot of meat. I would eat here again as maybe there are some better Asian dishes to be had, but the menu was a little limited so we will see.

I was in London for work, and staying in the Travel Lodge nearby. After finishing work late in night, I called in for a take away to eat in my room. The staff were friendly, the food tasty and also reasonably priced for London. I would recommend you give it at try.
