Avaliação da contribuiçãoI love everything I have eaten here from the hand rolled mozzarella sticks to the shrooms and shrimp appetizer! The steak bites are really good too. Service is fantastic, kept the drinks coming! Everyone is kind, including the customers. The atmosphere is fine. It's right on Sprague so not a great view but there is a patio also.We were playing trivia and that was fun too. It's a very small place so reserve a spot or get there early!
Service was great. I went with the recommended brisket Crunchwrap and that was unreal.
The rice bowl was served on a plate! A total scandal :(The portions were generous, my bbq sandwich was fine, and the rice bowl was a bit too sweet (why was it sweet? . I'm guessing it'd have been a better rating if my wife got something from the American side of the menu.Anyhow, perfectly fine. If we go back it'll be in the evening instead of lunch.
Not sure if they were having a very off night tonight or if this is normal for this place but our experience tonight truly sucked. When we walked in (2 of us) we were told to find a table. Luckily one was open so we sat right down. Not sure if the owners purposefully understaffed or what but pretty sure there was 1 server and 1 bartender for a Saturday night. As such, we didn't get asked about drinks until we had been there for 20 minutes. We did get menus quickly and ordered mozzarella logs, and bbq burnt ends as appetizers and ordered our entrees at the same time. They were out of brisket which was of course what I had come in for. We instead ordered a French dip and the corned beef crunchwrap. It looks 40 minutes for the appetizers to be delivered. After the appetizers were delivered we waited 40 more minutes before asking the bartender to check to see if they had started our food and to cancel it if not since we had been sitting there waiting for food for an hour and twenty minutes at that point. The bartender came back with the check and said they were just getting ready to start our food so she canceled the dip and crunchwrap and brought our tab. Management really needs to step up and not let their staff drown if it takes 80 minutes to get handheld food started. Whether it is the kitchen needing help or service staff needing help, this was asinine for your staff to be so unhelped.
Great pulled pork and brisket! Truth be told, my husband makes the best smoked meat on the planet and it has ruined me for eating out, I only chose this place so I could report back to my friend who recommended this place that it was sub-par. I was wrong. This pulled pork and brisket rivels my husband's. The flavor is a bit more generic here, but works great for the versatile ways it is served (crunch wrap, chimichanga, burger, etc) very moist! I will definitely be going here next time I'm in town.
