Hampton Inn - Spokane

This hotel is an absolute gem on the outskirts of spokane. and the amenities are open 24hr! including pool, whirlpool and fitness area. you can say that this hotel was built before a dae when you look at the outer one. do not let the retro vibe scare them, despite its obvious age this place was well maintained. super clean and well maintained. beds were comfortable, bed linen seemed relatiw new, carpets and furniture were in good condition. the staff were all very friendly and seemed proud of the jobs they did. the older gentleman, who worked the breakfast area, was on the wipe off of tables immediately and keeps everything very clean and tidy. the young man at the reception was admirably patient with someone on the phone who demanded directions to the hotel. hotel is located on the western edge of spokane, between the airport and the edge of the city. a strange situation, but the opposite felt very quiet and safe. easy access to the autobahn and a short drive to the city.

We really liked this hotel! it is not in the inner city that I think is better because your vehicle and everything in it are safer. hotels in the city have all warnings about theft at the parking lot. it was not far from the city inside, which was convenient. we went to explore all the things at the river and it wasn't much of a drive. we loved the pool, and the room furnished as the washbasins are outside the shower toilet area, which is really nice when they have kids and try to go ready or in the morning. the staff was super friendly and helped us find a great place after we arrived.

The personal at the reception. clean, comfortable rooms. comfortable for the interstate. the breakfast host was very polite and accommodating. I would definitely recommend if you would pass through and rather not stay right in spokane. also near the airport.

Excellent location to the airport and free shuttle. park them free in the hotel. room neat and clean. restaurant eating was pretty good, but the service was slow due to lack of coworkers. the server were excellent, but were really understated. very nice hotel and would stay again

The complimentary breakfast which we enjoyed every day of our stay was more than abundant very good. Dinner in the hotel a tad expensive but food good service great. Pool whirlpool which we did not use was available outside patio was comfortable and accessible. That being said there were problems: had a problem with the 24 hour free airport shuttle. Hotel staff was not clear of the p u point it is at the far end of airport at the car rental spot . After waiting more than an hour and many calls to the hotel an airport personnel advise where correct p u point was not the shuttle is there that we received from the hotel. Other problem and most important is room service. The room was about 190 a night BUT SERVICE TO THE ROOM IS ONLY AVAILABLE EVERY 4 DAYS UNLESS REQUESTED. I'm on vaca and do not want to make my own bed, straighten up or empty our trash. We made calls to the front desk, but housekeeping was not kept in the loop. We left our trash in the hall 190 a night I think not. We weren't alerted to this piece of housekeeping news until we were checking in!
