Avaliação da contribuiçãoIf you don’t go to any other restaurants in St. Augustine, GO HERE. The food was absolutely incredible — the shrimp and carne asada were both top notch — and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
We wanted a break from the heat and some electrolytes and sustenance. La Casa was still a long hike away, but we trotted as fast as our little legs would go. We thought we wouldn't make and succumb to the intense Florida scorcher but lo! Ahead in the waves of the mirage! La Casa! Finally in the condition that makes one weak, the air was refreshing and victuals complete. Served on a platter, the Guajillo was divine, whole fried tortillas and salsa sublime. Virgin margarita, no alcohol because already an iguana, we dined upon La Insalada Tijuana. With our lives in the balance, La Casa saved the day, now back into the Florida scorcher we were on our way! Andale! Viva La Casa!
The atmosphere was good, our server was great and the music was amazing. The food was the issue, the rice and beans were bland had little to no flavor let alone salt, coupled with the price tag of over $100 for 2 drinks 2 entrees and some cartoonishly green guacamole, I was surprised they automatically tacked on over 18% for the the tip.
Great food live music we got the top balcony private room with a party of 6 but still had a view of the live music. Only complaint were the chips when we ordered queso and salsa. They’re tostadas that you break up and we did not get enough.
The green burrito without cheese is perfect for Vegans. It’s really good.
