Sugarfire Smoke House - St Charles

The restaurant was just okay, nothing extraordinary and definitely not authentic Texas BBQ. The cornbread that accompanied my meal was cold and dry. The sweet tea was good, but the BBQ itself was just average. While the restaurant may have won awards in the past, the meal I had today did not live up to expectations.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. Everyone was excited to have Sugar Fire at our event, it was wonderful. The only issue we encountered was when a bartender or server loudly complained that the venue wouldn't let them buy a drink. Guests who didn't realize the manager was right next to her were taken aback. I would have been okay with paying for a drink if they had asked politely or discussed it with the manager. Complaining loudly in front of guests at a special celebration was very unprofessional. Despite this, we still had a great time and I would recommend this restaurant. I hope the management can address this behavior to ensure a more professional experience in the future.

My wife and I dined at the restaurant on September 25, 2022 at 3:30 in the afternoon. It was not very crowded, but unfortunately, the only meat option available was overcooked. However, the appetizer we tried was delicious, so we decided to order two 6 oz steaks. Unfortunately, both steaks were overcooked and overly fatty. Overall, for $30, we found the experience to be quite unpleasant.

I tried. the people we kindly tried to answer our questions. we ordered and it was prepared and quickly joined together. food was good, service was excellent! price seemed something on the high side with the portions we were given, but a solid 7 on taste and tast. everything was good, though it wasn't a trip home with me when I think bbq. I would eat here again, maybe try something else on the menu of many objects.

Delicious.... great BBQ and fun takes on typical menu items. I enjoyed it and would recommend it!
