Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream

A nice little ice cream place. The brand is Blue Bell, so don 't expect anything homemade. The staff was friendly and our family enjoyed the experience. After all, it was ice cream and it gave us a reprieve from the mosquitoes at our campsite! Also, the portions were generous. A single scoop was really the size of two large scoops and they would divide that into two flavors if requested. The double scoop was about 4 scoops and again two different flavors if requested.

This sweet little shop serves Bluebell ice cream in generous portions. Waffle cones, sugar cones and cups are available. Today, we had banana pudding ice cream, blackberry cobbler ice cream, cookies and cream, salted caramel, rainbow sherbet, and coffee ice cream. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. The banana pudding and coffee flavors were especially big hits. Definitely worth stopping by. Plenty of seating inside, as well as some outside seating available.

I've been coming here almost every year since I was a child, and have loved coming everytime. Lots of choices of flavors and they all are delicious! The staff are always kind. And the place is always clean! If you come to St George, you have to come here!

One of the VERY FEW places in the Apalachicola/SGI area were employees wear masks! Kudos to this business! The 2 scoops on a waffle cone I got was enormous and very filling (I had an awful dinner previously and this made up for it). The ice cream is Blue Bell, so not artisanal, but the fact that the business cares enough to wear masks and is generous with the scoops, they get a well deserved rating. Highly recommended!
