The best spot at the bottom of the lake....The Boat launch is the best hometown pub....great for a family afternoon get together, a monthly cribbage tourny, a Thursday night jam......you have to go see Dan, Zach, Monigue, and Abbey Best steak and cheese and meat lovers pizza of in the lakes region!

This restaurant is a great local atmosphere, you'll see no one at the door to greet you, come in and head straight to the back. Dan-O not to be confused with O'Dan) will greet you from behind the bar, out back where the action is. There are 2 pool tables as well. On to the food. Dan-o cooked my steak sandwich, I had a loaded steak and cheese at his recommendation with an Allaghash white on draft) The loaded steak and cheese was delicious, the bread was well toasted, chewy towards the middle, it was fresh, extremely fresh. The meat was seasoned well with salt and pepper, onions had a great carmelization. The sandwich was extremely delicious, a massive sandwich at a very reasonable price $9.99) this doesn't come with fries, but trust me, you won't need them after biting into this sandwhich. This bread is amazing. I'm eating as we speak. I've eaten a lot of steak sandwiches, this sandwich in front of me may be the best I've eaten, and I don't take that lightly. If you're in Standish, go here, walk in and head straight for the back of the joint. You won't be dissapointed if your experience is half of what mine has been today
