Umi Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

The food and service were amazing. My brother and I went yesterday afternoon and I had trouble deciding on a sushi dish, but Michaela was fantastic. She recommended one of her favorites and was incredibly kind and beautiful. She was excellent at her job and made an effort to engage in conversation. Michaela knows how to provide great service and connect with customers. We will definitely be returning for both the food and customer service.

This restaurant is fantastic! I visited with my best friend and parents for a Christmas gathering and the food was delicious. It did take some time for a chef to prepare our meal, but it was worth the wait.

I went on a first date and he chose the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the great food, friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. However, it is not possible to make a reservation, so I would not recommend it for a special occasion unless you are willing to wait. The atmosphere in the old section is decent, but the new section is decorated in a New Orleans theme, which seems out of place for a Japanese Steak House. Overall, it is a good spot for casual dining, but I would not choose it for a date or work dinner.

The server was personable and kept us entertained with his impressive tricks! The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients, particularly the vegetables (unlike some places that serve frozen ones).
