American Ale House - State College

Highly recommended. taste the juicy steak, its taste is so strong and amazing. I like the fries better than burger. it is crispy outside while soft inside. there are also Asian flavors in this restaurant such as the chicken salad and the pig bell. and the sizes of desserts are so big and they taste great.

This is definitely one of the better restaurants that they will find in the state college area. also one of the best if they want fresh seafood. eating is always on point and very consistent. my favourite dish here is probably the jambalaya or gumbo. they can't go wrong with any of the food selection and there are many drinks to choose from. the only crack I have at this place is that it is very dark.

With a large group we were in the city for a sport tournament. they had us well 15 because our children were all sitting together and sharing the controls. raw bar is pretty good, we have various foods that everyone liked what they had. I personally had the filet mignon salat it was really good for an salat as I am fat and try to lose weight. my wife had the cobe slider that I tried one bit of those who were incredible.

Many thanks for the great services of emily and all the waiters/waitresses. we really enjoyed the lobster sandwich, the Thai chicken salad and the mushroom rosemary with fried dunei. added to jul 20: they have updated the menu and paper towel. but I didn't enjoy the basil taste.

My favorite place to go when in the area. the ricotta appetizer and sliders are our favorites on the menu. I had the best whiskey sour I’ve ever had last night. a real treat.
