Avaliação da contribuiçãoI came to this restaurant for dinner after visiting the ABBA Museum, which was just a short walk away. The atmosphere here is traditionally Swedish, reflected in both the decor and the menu. I tried Ulla Winbladh's choice of Swedish flavors, which included a sampler platter of gravlax, herring in mustard, reindeer dip, and Skagen toast. I would rate this dish an 8, with the reindeer dip being my favorite and the gravlax coming in a close second. I also ordered the poached cod with chopped egg, shrimps, horseradish, browned butter, and boiled potato, which I would also rate an 8. The cod portion was bigger than expected and went well with the horseradish and brown butter, although the chopped egg and boiled potatoes were a bit bland. Overall, it was a hearty and satisfying meal. The service from both waitresses I interacted with was great.
The restaurant has good food, but the service is terrible. We visited during a busy time, but our server neglected our table and only came after we went to find her. It took 30 minutes to place our order and 45 minutes to receive our food. No one apologized, and when I expressed my disappointment, the server simply said they were busy and asked what I expected. I expect them to mention the busyness upfront and offer a simple apology. Unfortunately, the rudeness of our server overshadowed the quality of the food.
Bad service and mediocer overpriced food. Do not reccomend AT ALL.. Shame that it has gotten so bad. Oh well, lots of other places close by to pick instead -You will Thank me..
Excellent wines and the food was very high quality and well-prepared. Food is 'classic Swedish ' and the restaurant feels cozy and old-fashioned (in a good way! . Our group was well taken care of by the very professional and friendly waitstaff. Nice setting in the private dining room. A bit on the expensive side, but not unreasonable. A unique venue, perfect for a special occasion.
Princess Lilian and many others used to frequent this restaurant when Mr. Nils Emil Ahlin was in charge. Her photograph still hangs on the wall! The location on Djurgården is lovely, with a large terrace for summer dining and a cozy atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the quality of our food was not impressive, but it was overshadowed by the poor attitude of our waitress. While my friend's appetizer and main course were just okay, my Elk Wallenberg was extremely disappointing. When I pointed out the issue to the waitress, she showed no concern. Instead of trying to make it right, she simply brushed off my complaint. The apple pie for dessert was decent, but the highlight of the evening was when I ordered strawberry ice cream and received a bowl filled with blueberries instead. The waitress claimed that it was blueberry ice cream, leaving us completely astonished. While the restaurant itself is charming, the unimpressive food and unprofessional staff make it difficult for me to recommend it. There are plenty of other good restaurants to choose from, so be cautious when dining here.
