Shakespeare Inn - Stratford-on-Avon

Excellent service, lovely food. Busy night over Christmas staff attentive but not overpowering. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Would visit again.

We came here for food Friday evening, everything was gorgeous and the staff are all super friendly. And then Saturday evening we stopped off just for one on our way home and ended up staying until close! All the locals in there are lovely, the staff are amazing, and the food is top notch, not your average pub food!

We can recommend the Shakespeare enough for the effects they put into our daughters christening celebrations all the staff worked extremely hard, the buffet food was absolutely amazing they also labelled each item of Buffett food so everyone could see what they was having. Can’t forget they decorated the place for us with all our balloons and banners so we didn’t have to do anything Highly recommend and thank you to all the Shakespeare team

I came with family I was visiting for dinner, and I came solo a few times. Every time I came the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious.

Insanely slow service, we waited for 1 hour to get our food, there was only 2 other tables eating also, and the rest of the pub was empty, waitress made no effort to make it right, perhaps a free pud or a drink, ventured in to see what it was like after booking in advance, will not be back and will make sure others know to avoid it
