Strawberry Lodge

Best place to eat in all of Pine/Strawberry! Finally somewhere upscale! Can't wait for the lodge to be finished. Food drinks: Excellent upscale Italian food and service. Expertly mixed drinks and nice atmosphere. Somewhere you can dress up a little and relax. Our favorite is the bruschetta and penne Gorgonzola. Noteworthy details: Reservations recommended Open Thursday -Sunday 4-8. Service: 5

This review is for the Italian Restaurant. Let me first say that we just came back from Italy in May. I had the pasta Bolognese and it was spot on. I don't know where this chef studied but he knows his craft. My stepmother has severe allergies to many of the Italian herbs and often can not eat most Italian dishes but the chef came to our table and took note of what she could not have and prepared a tortellini dish and she absolutely loved it, I give him 5 stars. Our server was also very attentive and also displayed the qualities you come to expect from a upscale fine dining restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for today's standards. I paid 7 bucks for a cocktail that would of cost 12 at a chain restaurant where I live. The same applies to the dishes, they were very reasonable. I don't know what the restaurant star rating actually is but for me this place was a real value and I will be coming back when I come to visit the area. Visiting from Southern California.

I am reviewing the RESTAURANT, not the rooms at the INN or the airstreams that is a totally different review. The restaurant is EXCELLENT!! Employees were all super friendly, excellent food and service. GREAT ambiance too! A little difficult to find as there is not a sign out front stating Strawberry Lodge just small signs stating an Italian restaurant. Don't miss this place!! Service: 5

The best Italian food we've had in a long time! We stopped here accidentally and although it was the most expensive dinner we had on our trip up here the food here was phenomenal and worth every penny! It's a bit upscale and we felt underdressed but then also saw some local hunters come in and be seated in their hunting gear which made my wife feel better about what we were wearing that evening. The bread and oil and herbs are very good. Definitely try their gorgonzola chicken it's life changing! Food drinks: This is THE best food we've eaten in Strawberry hands down!
