Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt's always good to see Chef Stuart back. And to have the Northbury Hotel under it's original name. We've eaten there twice now. Chef Stuart's wild mushroom soup is really good. The beef curry was excellent but no longer on the menu. The rack of lamb was good, but more vegetables would make it better..
The curry dish special is truly a great signature dish with authentic Indian flavors. Jasmine rice is beautifully cooked and spices are balanced. I found service to be a bit slow despite the restaurant not being too busy. Possibly a distracted waitress. I am truly happy I was recommend to try out the Chef's dishes compared to other local restaurant in the area. Also, be sure to try the signature Mushroom Soup! Absolutely delicious and the beat mushroom soup I have ever tasted. Thank you!
Amazing. Chef Stuart “aka Simon” is amazing and Thyme Out (old Northbury) was lucky to snag such a culinary artist. I’ve never been a huge curry fan but chef Stuart’s curry dish “symphony to Lalah” is incredible. Caesar salad is delish. Every signature dish this chef makes is incredible and guess what Skip the Dishes can bring it home for you. I’d add a photo but it gotten eaten up too fast.
I was at the Howard Johnson for a luncheon for a retiree. The meal was a buffet and the variety was very good. There was lots of food as well a great many choices. There was even a great choice of desserts to pick from. The price was well worth the meal. Would also recommend the Sunday brunch although I have not been there in a few weeks, I am told it is still great.
Had the Northbury Prime Burger with Caesar salad, it was excellent! Burger was thick and juicy! Would definitely get it again!
