Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was at the Howard Johnson for a luncheon for a retiree. The meal was a buffet and the variety was very good. There was lots of food as well a great many choices. There was even a great choice of desserts to pick from. The price was well worth the meal. Would also recommend the Sunday brunch although I have not been there in a few weeks, I am told it is still great.
Had the Northbury Prime Burger with Caesar salad, it was excellent! Burger was thick and juicy! Would definitely get it again!
Absolutely fantastic! Chef Stuart, also known as Simon, is a true culinary talent, and Thyme Out (formerly Northbury) is fortunate to have him. I've never been a big fan of curry, but Chef Stuart's "Symphony to Lalah" is simply outstanding. The Caesar salad is delicious as well. Every signature dish he creates is exceptional, and the great news is that you can have it delivered right to your door with Skip the Dishes. I would include a photo, but it was devoured too quickly!
The curry special is an outstanding signature dish, showcasing authentic Indian flavors. The jasmine rice is perfectly cooked, and the spices are well-balanced. However, I found the service to be somewhat slow, even though the restaurant wasn't too busy, which may have been due to a distracted waitress. I'm really glad I was advised to try the Chef's dishes instead of opting for other local restaurants. Don't miss the signature Mushroom Soup—it's incredibly delicious and the best mushroom soup I've ever had. Thank you!
It’s great to see Chef Stuart back in action and the Northbury Hotel restored to its original name. We’ve dined there twice so far. Chef Stuart’s wild mushroom soup is outstanding. The beef curry was excellent, although it’s no longer available on the menu. The rack of lamb was tasty, but it could be improved with a few more vegetables.
