La Rumba Mexican Grill - Sulphur

This was our first time back in a few years. Food was great and love the updates to the building! My only negative feedback is that we had to wait quite awhile before our waiter came to the table.....all the while there were several staff sitting at tables near the entrance on their phones.

Great food, taste similar to the food i got to try in mexico! The server was very nice, very attentive. The queso flameado was my fave thing.

Food was good. Service not so much. Had to wait 10 mins for server to quit watching videos on his phone at the kiosk to get my order in. Then I had to ask for everything! More tea, more, chips, more salsa. Just got up and got my own napkins. They weren't busy. The other servers seemed attentive to their customers. Might have just got the bad one out of the bunch. With 3 other Mexican restaurants nearby they might want to look into this. Oh well. I won't go back. Not just because of one bad server but mainly because the other Mexican restaurants were all around better overall.

From the moment I walked in the staff here were great. I was asked if I wanted to sit in the bar area (I was alone) and I was hesitant and the hostess just jumped in and said he would seat me in a booth. Then my extra sweet waitress approached, Haley. She was very helpful with me trying to decide on a regular or large margarita

Don't do it. This place is on a main drag, surrounded by every fast food joint known to man, all of which are better. The margs are all sour mix, the food is bland (Taco Bell down the way is better), and the staff is, at best, disinterested. I spent my meal with another diner standing over my booth trying to get the TV to stop showing what I was watching and instead show something else. Who knows what he never got it to work. RUDE!
