Yummy Thai Food, Pho&boba Tea - Sumter

Sitting here for the first time and I already cant wait to come back... the people are so nice, the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The workers are so friendly and outgoing, greating people as they come in and constant interaction with the diners. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband, who is from Thailand and typically does all the cooking at home, was really craving some Thai food since we recently sold our house. We really enjoyed the Thai tea Boba, and the somtum papaya salad was fantastic! I did request it without peanuts, and my curry dish was delicious. The Pho was decent—good for restaurant fare, though it felt a bit watered down and didn't come with meatballs. The only dish we didn’t enjoy was the Beef Salad; it was quite sweet, and we’re not fans of iceberg lettuce. At home, we typically use green leaf or spring mix, so that wasn't to our preference. However, everything was fresh and well-seasoned, and we will definitely be back!

The establishment has around seven tables, each seating four, with an outdoor option available for nice occasions. It’s clean and well-organized. The food has its unique twist; the Pho is excellent, the curry is rated 4 out of 5, and the rice dishes are delicious but quite large for one person. Honestly, the portion sizes are generous, which is why the menu offers smaller half portions for rice dishes so you can mix and match with other plates. It took about 14 minutes from placing my order to receiving my food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return!

If you're a fan of Thai cuisine, Yummy is a must-visit. The food is exceptional, and the staff is always friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is that service and wait times can occasionally be slow. Most of the time, the wait is worth it, but it's still something to consider. I absolutely love the Boba Tea here, and my wife is a huge fan of their pho. The Thai dishes are also excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, I give the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
