Avaliação da contribuiçãoI went to Toby Carvery Washington tonight with a £10 birthday voucher I received via email. The voucher stated it could be used on a spend of £25 or over. When we arrived, we presented our voucher and were informed it would be taken off our final bill. The menu on the table was a set two or three course menu, but it was never mentioned that this was a promotional menu. Our final bill ended up being for full price meals and desserts instead of the set menu price. Other guests agreed that we did not receive the deal we were expecting and suggested the manageress offer a goodwill gesture, especially since we are pensioners and were upset by the treatment. Unfortunately, no goodwill gesture was given and we were unable to speak to the general manager until the following week. I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant since it first opened, but I will not be returning after this experience.
Friendly staff and some tasty wholesome food to be ate here, highly recommended. Server Karen made us feel welcome and had time to explain how things work. The carver James dished up a large portion for our king size plates
Our server was Ellie, and she was a delight. I don't think I would have been as cheerful as she was if I had to work indoors in this weather. I didn't catch the carver's name, but he was also very friendly. The food met our expectations for a Toby Carvery, and we may make this our new regular spot <3.
Emily and James were welcoming and the food was excellent. After getting off our flight, this restaurant was the perfect place to grab a meal and delay our trip to the grocery store for another day.
Very convenient for where we were staying at the adjacent Premier Inn. Lovely food and excellent service from Melissa. Would highly recommend.
