3/31/24I raised by 2 stars....big shout out to whichever cook made the carnitas for a burrito order tonight! Muchos gracias! Perfect! Tender, moist, flavorful and finally not over salted!I would love it if they could make a margarita without the sour mix ****. I would love a good reposado with fresh lime juice, a touch of agave and a few jalapeno slices shaken and poured.Earlier review:People here are awesome. (Thus 2 stars...staff is 5 star! Portions huge, huge menu, but sadly food itself is not so great. Come for patio and drinks, how bad can you screw up a drink, right? Tamales are thick as a brick and heavy, like cooked glue. Taco....go to Maize...fresh is key in a taco...when it tastes like a cooked sock, well, it tastes like a cooked sock. I used to love this place, but lately it is just, meh for the food. Maybe it is just lunch that is bad? I have in the past come during dinner, ? Again, staff is phenomenal and the portions are huge. If gringo Mexican is your thing, you may love it. Even in the poorest towns in Mexico you can find wonderful fresh food. Not here...not anymore. Waitress took order off bill, but can 't remove the taste from my mouth. Come for drinks, staff and service...come if gringo suits you, otherwise there are better places for food.Respectfully.

Servers were literally running (safely and carefully) to get customers taken care of. Amazing service and great food!
