Don Cevichero - Surquillo

A great place to taste some seafood in mercado de surquillo. it is a very busy place, but the waiters are extremely efficient to get them a table. we ordered a combination of ceviche and aroz con mariscos for 20 sohlen. they served a fish soup. first (delicious). together with 1 beer we paid 30 sohlen. it wasn't what they call a real lunch because we don't hungry, but good to try.

Best meal of my life. I have to say more. we went here twice in two days and if I had, I could have been here for every meal. the grilled seafood is from this world and the ceviche and arroz con marsicos are too...the for. the owner speaks English, but the personal does not. Don't let that scare you. the seafood is as fresh as possible and the free soup, maisnüsse and plantainchips are very welcome. If you go to lima and don't go here, you made a huge mistake. we went to the market with plans to see the menus for here and el cevichano over the floor. the type in el cevichano was extremely pushy and actually pursued after people when they tried to sit on don cevichero. not good. fortunately he made our decision where you can eat quite simply. don cevichero is warm and welcoming. they make it right!

Amazing dishes all done superbly ceviche, grilled seafood, chicharron seafood, soup. The works. We came here 4 times in the week. The quality of the seafood was superb, high end food in a relaxed market style.

This is, by far, the best ceviche in Lima. It's soooooo good!!!...The place is in the centre of the Mercado 1 in Surquillo. Once in Lima, you have to go and a trio...chicharrones with fresh mayo, ceviche mixto and the seafood rice...very good!!! Oh, and...the staff is great!!!!

Herika is a living legend. The place is amazing there is 2 of them one in dance and another in Mercado 1 in surquillo. Go to mercado 1. This place is by far the best ceviche restaurant in the country. The food is amazing and...Herika is the coolest person. Believe me if you ate in LIMA and you didn't eat there you are insane.
