Coffee Monster - Surrey

Every drink I’ve tried here has tasted too sweet, too watered down, or too artificial. Also, the barista with the half ponytail always looks uninterested and gave us rude looks. He came to our table to tell my friend that he can’t eat his food brought from outside even though all of us had ordered drinks and weren’t bothering anyone. Poor service and rude staff :

Ordered a few pastries. the male barista with the ponytail taking my order had was very rude and looked like he did not want to be there. my friends also ordered some pastries to go and the male barista tossed the pay machine and pastries towards my friends. we felt so uncomfortable and so unwelcome. i rarely ever leave negative reviews but his attitude was very uncalled for.

Quality and quantity have gone down— I guess inflation means most restaurants and cafes charge more but you get less now in all aspects.Honey brick toast was definitely lacking today and what happened to all the almonds they used to put on it? Now it’s tiny slivered almonds. Don’t think your regular customers don’t notice these things.Your once regular won’t be back again.

The place is very accommodating for students as there are lots of electrical consent outlets, on most of tables hence you will see lots of people with the laptops and books at this place. Coffee price is decent as in, comparable to Starbucks or slightly more expensive side. Quality also decent. Place has nice desert items too although bit pricey. Best of all, the place logo is quite cool which is a bonus. :

I was craving for some coffee and pastries and stopped by this cafe. I felt so happy that they’ve got what I wanted but the service given by the barista/order taker Vince was terrible. He made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I’m giving one star for the food but the service was really third class where you can even get more stressful.
