Snowy Village - Surrey

Although snowy village is known for its bingsoo, grayson and I usually come for the taiyaki. taiyaki are stuffed pastries and the way they do it here is extra decadent because they use croissant bäck instead of a battery! that makes the taiyaki super crispy and squirting on the outside to contrast the soft filling.

Home of bingsoo! a Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings is perfectly prepared by snowy village. they replace water with milk, which is then shaved to resemble the snowy texture. they have a series of topping options such as mango and strawberry to cheesecake and erzeos. it is different from everything I cost and I don't think I can get enough. I love the mango and gr.

We tried the cheesecake, mango and black bean flavors. The shaved ice desserts are tasty. Place could use an upgrade to make the experience better.

The person working behind the counter was on the phone and didn't pay attention to the customers waiting in line. I ordered the mango bingsoo and Oreo bingsoo, but both were flavorless - just shaved ice and canned diced mango. I'm sorry to say it wasn't worth it.

Avoid ordering the cheesecake at this restaurant. It tastes like plain milk with no discernible flavor.
