Decorated like your Norwegian great grandmother's kitchen, this popular restaurant in Svolvær offers great food, service and atmosphere. Book ahead and be sure to start with the delicious whale carpaccio that melts in your mouth. The menu pays homage to Norwegian food traditions so don't expect fancy emulsions or whatever is trending, just great quality produce cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the classic dish of fried cod tongues, but the rosemary lamb was probably the star of our evening. Expensive, but worth it.

Excellent food, very fresh fish, very efficient and kind service. The prices are high... like expected for Norway. This was one of the best meals in Lofoten. Reservation recommended. The place is very pleasant and nicely decorated.

This restaurant is located on ground floor of historical building built on sea decking on the upstairs is located well know guest house nice well decorated with historical interiors great view off the town great choice on the menu not cheap place but good quality food nicely prepared good selection my great place for special occasion is really romantic with profession staff and friendly

I liked the food, especially the salmon with sour cream and boiled potato. The place was very cozy and i enjoyed my time there
