The Fox Hounds - Swindon

That was our second visit. the food was again very good, with very generous portions. very attentive service, and beautiful to take our time and not feel hastily. would definitely recommend.

Sorry folks it's our 3rd time at the F&H. 1st time was very nice. We returned with friends only to be stuck next to a huge speaker 4ft away from our table. We were advised not to come on Saturdays to avoid this. 3rd booking we arrived On a Friday) only to find a similar situation we requested to be put in the Den at time of booking ) but it was closed for some reason. This is a pub that caters for the locals (which is fine) but for others it misses the mark by a considerable amount. Probably won't be back.

I had the leek, potato cheddar soup which found to be thin, quite tasteless and no obvious potato or cheddar could be found! A very disappointing version of a very standard soup!!!

A disappointing quality meal. The beef was barely edible and the vegetables very mediocre. A real shame, as the service was OK. The curry option was really good.

Lovely food, and staff very friendly. Just a bit disappointed that they didn’t have all the food on menu but understand that it was because they don’t usually open on a Monday but what we did have to eat was delicious
