Avaliação da contribuiçãoMalaysian palate satisfaction. A good place to satisfy your crave for Malaysian food even though I would not rank it as among the very best. Both of us have the Malaysian noodles. If you need melachan chili, ask for it at the counter.
We ate dinner at Jimmy's at Gateway on a Friday night. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. A generous portion of Nasi Goreng and Laksa.
We have tasted Malaysian food in many parts of the world. I ordered seafood laksa. It did not have much taste and did not contain much seafood compared to other Malaysian restaurants. My wife ordered fish curry. It was very bland. Not what she had tasted elsewhere. When we arrived, we asked a waitress if could sit at a different table, she said we couldn't, not very obliging considering it was less than half full. We were also charged an extra $4 because we played by debit card. We will not be going back as there are better restaurants in the area.
Ordered Sydney's best Laksa and I'd say they were pretty spot on. I ordered mine with chicken and it was the best. Totally recommend and good prices
We went here before and liked the food but the second visit is bad. The staff is rude and unhelpful. We were asked to use only one table, there are two of us, and one child. We ordered three dishes. The area is barely occupied. Also, after the same rude staff toppled over the sauce cups to the floor, she put them back again in the condiments area. Not recommended.
