Portogalo Chicken - Sydney

Great food, reasonable prices and friendly service. Chicken burgers are great, and the tabouli is delicious. So glad to have this shop at our local mall.

Ben (customer) enjoyed the good food, generous portions, and appealing presentation of the dishes at this restaurant. He suggested that adding a wheelchair ramp would be beneficial. The service was for a dine-in lunch, with prices ranging from A$20 to A$40 per person.

Consistently good food, cheap prices, and fast service. My usual would be the bacon, egg, and cheese roll with barbecue sauce or the big boy burger. The chips are really nice—not crazy good or anything but nice—but, my god, the tenders. If you grabbed a KFC tender and put it next to a Portogalo tender, it would be like night and day; the Portogalo tenders are like five times the size of the KFC tenders and five times as juicy. I've also realised that chicken shops will always sell devil wings, and I've made it my mission to at least have one at every chicken shop I go to. and let me say that these wings are really good, not overly juicy but with a nice flavour. The chicken and chips at this Forestville restaurant were delicious. The chicken was perfectly golden and crunchy, just like you would expect from a great chicken shop. This is one of my favorite places for savory food. Service was excellent and the meal was a great value for lunch, costing between A$1-20 per person.
