The food becomes local and the menu changes every 6 weeks, so there is always variety. The cook sent an Amuse Bouche cracker with seeds and cranberry sauce. Nice start to dinner. We ordered the Hush the Muggles Hush puppies and Alliums Flatbread bread. Very tasteful and good for 2-4 people. Then we ordered the Duck Pot Pie and Chefs Steak of the day. Both were excellent. I had the steak that was perfectly cooked. I want to make such a steak. The sauce was a cherry mustard sauce on the side, which was beautiful and light and went well with the roasted sprouts and sweet potatoes. We were full after the meal and didn't get a desert, we took some pastries. We'll be back.
What a wonderful place to enjoy a good meal. I had breakfast and dinner and was impressed with both meals. The French pastries were so delicate and delicious I thought I was living in Europe again. I evan had the wonderful opportunity of meeting the Pasty Chef who created the magic that I enjoyed. My dinner was a terrific experience. I was extremely satisfied with my meal. I had the throwback steak which was tender and cooked to perfection. From the welcoming Hostess, food and staff, kudos to you Eric Alderman for the awesome dining experience.
Went for Sunday brunch. Trendy urban asthetic, good ambiance. We arrived mid brunch and certain menu items were sold out. Phenomenal entrees, I had the duck hash and my girlfriend had the lemon french toast... absolutely delicious and well-portioned. Will return!
Great little place. Excellent food. Small but varied beer menu. Only the complaint was the bowl in which my Cobb salad was served was so full, It was hard to mix. A larger bowl would have made it easier to spread the delicious food. Don't miss the hidden gem. The most important is the $4 design with your lunch order.
We brought our 3 years old to brunch (they have high chairs) and had a great experience with the staff. The atmosphere is really cool, cozy also comes in mind. The food was pretty good, but the portions were definitely too small. Both my wife and I went quite hungry and that was French toast on our own breakfast after eating a part of our sons. My ash browns were also quite cold. Benny's eggs are delicious. If I went back, I would expect to order several courses and that would be for a very expensive brunch. I hope they do this!
