Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is my way to stop it for Vietnamese in Tacoma. Immersed on a Friday night and immediately get a table, I was blown away from the prices and amazed when the food came. The Bun Bo Hue was fantastic (I was asked if I wanted the optional blood cake and pork feet. Of course I have) My date had the Vermicelli shell with shrimp and pork. She got this back, we went a few days later. I had the duck salad What is the perfect balance for a cold day. Cold salad, duck and hot soup. Will be back again and again.
This place has the best photo I've ever had in my life! The soup has very strong nutmeg flavor, so if you are not a fan of it, you could not enjoy it as much as I. They are very generously served with the amount of good. You can choose the size of the Pho, which is also a plus. It's definitely a hole in the wall. It's not very nice, but the food is what's most important to me. I'd definitely go back if I ever passed by Tacoma.
Her main menu is not pho, but I love her pho soup. It's a little sweeter and cinnamonyer than usual.
I want to call myself a professional Pho-Esser. I was in most of the pho restaurants between Seattle and Olympia even a few in California. I feel that the dragon offers the best Pho soup. The restaurant is very authentic, rustic and cozy. The owner is a very beautiful lady as well as the cook. The restaurant is located in the Lincoln district of Tacoma, but it adds charm and character that desire many places they had. I usually try to get there before lunch to avoid the crowds, but I'm ready to wait for hours for their Pho. This soup changes and as soon as you try, you will be attached. Cheers!
My friend told me about this pho restaurant so I stopped by for a bowl. I ordered the Nam Vang Pho which is a Cambodian-style rice noodle with slices of liver, shrimp, and diced pork; pictured below, it was delicious. I like the fact that they offered a lot of fresh veggies. The service was great despite the place being understaffed. There is only street parking; note that as of June 2018 there're a lot of street and sidewalk construction with lots of traffic. I'll definitely return to try other dishes.
