Lobster Shop - Tacoma

Walked in and the first thing you see is a 20% service charge for all bills… I am fully capable of calculating my tip based on the level of service I receive. They call themselves fine dining yet I’ve never been to a high end establishment that advertises 20% added right in front of you.

We were very disappointed. Will probably not ever go back. Food was not very good or the service.

First time at the Lobster Shop and it was phenomenal! We had the 25oz Lobster. Best I've ever had. Shawn was a great server. Knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly.

The wait staff was warm, welcoming and frequent, the food was delicious and fresh. Our visit was a great experience!

Five people with five separate dishes and everyone was happy. The medallions were exceptional. The halibut also wowed us. The service was efficient and pleasant and it's a beautiful space. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
