Tacos Y Mariscos - Taft

They are open later than most places here, which is a big plus for visitors. Food is really good, many choices. The staff is nice, clean place, beautiful size parts head on the shrimp creek, it is raw, cooks in the lemon, really good!

The first time in this little town about 3 weeks ago. We came to this little nice restaurant and we came 5 days in a row. We're almost trying. Cook the guy. My respect. Meseras/cajeras the best. We're definitely coming back. Food and prices perfect!!!

Went to taft to eat at a restaurant(not this place) but it was closed, so we were driving around town and found Tacos y Mariscos casa Tavarez. My husband decided he wanted seafood so we stopped. At first i didnt know if i wanted seafood, but i ended up ordering some camarones a la diabla. My God! I have to say those were GOOD camarones. As soon as i tried the salsa and chips i decided to give them a chance. You know if they have good salsa, then they might have good food.I was not wrong. My husband was happy, i was happy, and my girls were happy. Good food, well seasoned, and fairly priced. Will be coming back from Bakersfield.

FIRE....... got 2 meal and they was so good I smash them both. Shrimp octopus with devil sauce. Pluse what looked to be a 5 lb brittio of all beef buche. Every was fire. Highly recommend it to anyone.
