Avaliação da contribuiçãoI recently experienced high tea at this restaurant again, and I must say their high tea rivals those in England. The savory dishes were impressive, and their macarons were delicious. The tea selection was also excellent. This branch is located at the far end of Bonifacio High Street.
I really enjoy the tea here! It may be a bit on the expensive side, but it is definitely worth it. The to-go boxed teas are also a bit pricey. The servers were polite and knew the menu well. The food was delicious, especially the mini burgers with foie gras. The foie gras was perfectly seared. The Eggs Benedict was cooked just right, although it could have used a bit more seasoning. The salad greens were fresh and tasty. The macarons are sold individually or in boxes of 6 or 12, and they are actually baked off-site. I saw them being delivered late at night.
I am thrilled that this charming tea shop offers reasonably priced products in a cozy atmosphere. The quality of the food matches the price, and overall, it's a great value. The only downside is that the seating is located in front of the entrance, so you are visible to passing cars. However, if other seats are available, I recommend choosing a spot where you are not in the direct line of sight of the incoming traffic. The service was neither particularly fast nor slow.

After spending 4 weeks here(BGC) this summer and 4 weeks last summer, I finally found my favorite place to eat. We have come to TWG 4 times, each meal I had was great. I had the PepperChicken; it was delish but my stomach couldn't handle the pepper(it was not spicy-hot but very peppery). I had the tea sandwich trio-good to share as a light lunch. But my fav was the Matcha Salmon. It was the best salmon dish I have EVER had at any restaurant EVER! It is high in salmon and veggies(cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and asparagus and snap peas) but low in carbs(no rice or potatoes). The plate looked like a piece of art and tasted excellent with a balsamic syrup w/ matcha oil. My son/husband enjoyed the mini chicken sliders. It is listed as a trio of different flavored sliders but they opted to get all three as chicken. They also enjoyed the lasagna, and the chicken fettuccine. I recommend the 6049-AmiThe' tea; it is a black tea with chocolate and sunflower. I had it iced.--So good I had to buy some to take back home with me. The restaurant is SUPER convenient to get to in High St with a parking garage avail(don't forget to ask for your parking voucher when you pay for your meal). The table setting is white cloth, bone china(I think) and real silver so you feel like you are getting a real treat. I think my Salmon dish was 650--or 13-4US$. And well worth it!
