Brasserie le Carpe diem - Talence

This is by far the most place for lunch to visit directly on campus if you want to avoid the canteen at the University of Bordeaux in Talence. It is almost always full, which is not surprising, as the dish du Jour is only 8 euros, and can for example be a delicious salmon, spinach and ricotta lasagna with salad. Desserts change every day and (5 euros on the menu) one day I had a foret noire, and another day a tarte au chocolat both were rich with generous amounts of cream, but delicious. I think I'll go back here while I'm staying in the fac for a month. I am also glad to write what seems to be the first English language review of this place (not that it needs).

Dishes are ordinary, well to eat between colleagues, too much noise if not quickly served, nothing exceptional

A friendly restaurant with talence, friendly staff and good atmosphere. two at noon, we came without reservation and could find room, but there was still a lot of people. not disappointed with our meal (plats and desserts), nor really reasonable price. Little more for the owner, very kind.
